Next semester, I will be living in a Vil-B with three of my Turkish friends. We got this opportunity thought the Muslim Living and Learning Community at Georgetown.

My enthusiasm is not only because I get to live in a Vil-B, but also because of the different types of people I will meet in the community. Lately I have been thinking about deepening my faith and forming a stronger connection to God. This was something I used to work on regularly but that I have been neglecting for the past two years.

When it comes to religion, I think that having a community is very helpful in staying consistent with praying or finding new ways to connect to what you believe in. I am more than excited to experience that during my Sophomore year at Georgetown.
