Summer Fellowship

I will be honest, I have been very stressed out about spending my summer productively. I am someone who does not like to stay free of responsibilities. Although this quality does help me become successful in professional life, it does cause a bit of unnecessary stress. Most people would prefer to spend their summers lying at a beach and getting a tan.

I appreciate free time too. I love vacations. However, I appreciate them to an extent and after I exhausted myself with work. Therefore, I applied to and got accepted into a fellowship program in Madrid this summer. The fellowship is a month long consulting program where I, along with a few other college students, will work on a consulting project for a real-life client.

Now, I do sound like a corporate sell out. But I actually am interested and want to see if consulting is an occupation I would want to pursue in the future. Moreover, I am part Spanish and am taking an intensive Spanish course this semester. I am looking forward to practicing Spanish this summer!
